! Contraindications

  • Marked laxative effect at high doses (sorbitol)
  • Rich in sugars: moderation in case of diabetes (especially dried)
  • Rich in FODMAPs: caution in case of irritable bowel
  • Pit should never be swallowed (cyanogenic compounds)
